What’s Reiki
Reiki is one of the oldest methods of healing. Reiki is a Japanese method of healing that uses energy for mind-body balance.
Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes healing. Used for stress reduction and relaxation.
It is normally administered by laying hands and is based in energy. It is a spiritual healing (it is not a religion) and self-development.
Reiki is made of two Japanese words. Rei, which means “God's wisdom or higher power” and Ki, which is “life force energy”. A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Reiki increases inner peace, security and well being. It is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Promotes peace and harmony with others. Reiki is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, Reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world. In the Usui system Reiki is a commitment to improve oneself and promote harmony.
